In the wake of a lawsuit brought by a former wine steward, a jury awarded an $8 million verdict to the former employee of Barley’s Casino & Brewing Co. in Henderson, Nevada. According to Enwright, who had been suffering from taste problems for over two decades, he sought a glass of honey blonde ale on tap, but was served a bottle of caustic chemicals, which are commonly used to clean beer lines and taps. According to Enwright’s attorneys, Barley’s Casino & Brewing Company was aware of its liability and had offered him $300,000 before the trial started. He was also convulsing after consuming caustic chemicals, and claimed to be suffering from nausea and convulsions.
Ethel M’s Chocolates
A visit to Ethel M’s Chocolates Henderson in Nevada is a must for chocolate lovers. Founded in 1911, this company was named after Forrest Mars’s mother. Ethel taught Forrest how to make chocolate and he in turn went on to create the world’s largest chocolate company and some of its most renowned brands.
