Las Vegas Strip

The infamous Las Vegas Strip has everything you could possibly need for a vacation or business trip here. The neon-lit, multi-coloured Las Vegas Strip is quintessential Las Vegas, lined with some of the finest casinos, hotels and nightclubs in the world. In addition to gambling floors, most of the hotel complexes to house some of the best restaurants, shops, and other entertainment venues for live music, circus-style performances and high-class gambling. And because this is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world, there are also tons of great Las Vegas Strip hotels to stay at while here.

The Venetian and Comfort Inn are two of the Strip’s newest, best known hotels. Both offer great places to stay, and both have very good reputations. The Venetian has been on the Strip for decades, serving many of its visitors and locals, and even has a fascinating history of its own. The Comfort Inn, meanwhile, has been open for several years and was one of the original outposts along the famous Avenue of the Arts.

Just a stones throw from these two Strip resorts is another area of the Las Vegas Strip that should be explored: the Las Vegas Convention Center and Hotel. The venue offers some of the best things to do in Las Vegas, with an assortment of shows and events running almost year-round. The hotels themselves are just blocks away on the main strip, and there are also a number of free things to do right in the heart of the entertainment district.

The best thing about this entire stretch of Las Vegas Strip is the diversity it offers. One of the more interesting pieces of this long strip is the T&L Grand Hotel and Casino, which sits on a beautiful stretch of the riverfront in the center of the complex. If you are interested in gaming, food, or just spending your time on the Strip, you won’t be able to miss this hotel. It offers everything from riverboat gambling to indoor golf to boat shows to live entertainment. The linq, or headliner, of the hotel is the Caesars Palace – a converted historic landmark that offers some excellent shopping, dining, and nightlife.

Just a short walk from T&L Grand Hotel and Casino is the Venetian, which has been a staple of the Strip for over three decades. The Venetian was one of the first casinos built on the strip and is still one of the most popular locations for locals and tourists alike. Both of these casinos, along with the casinos above, offer tons of great things to do on the Las Vegas Strip. Both the Caesars Palace and Venetian offer their guests beautiful accommodations right on the water, and many of the shows and restaurants also take place on the water. And both of these casinos are now closed, as they have both been restructured by the present owners.

One last casino that is closing in Las Vegas is the Venetian, which is going out of business at the end of its current lease. The Venetian is being replaced by the Majestic, which promise even more beauty, more shopping, and all the same great ambience that have made the Strip so famous. One final note about the Las Vegas Strip: the buildings and structures are constantly being remodeled and rebuilt. The latest building to open is the Excalibur Hotel and Casino, which promise even greater luxury and even greater gaming opportunities. In other words, if you ever want to go to Las Vegas, you can always find something new to do and something new to see.
