Summerlin is laid back and small, but it’s one of those towns that has an amazing history and is full of treasures. The town was named after its owner, who died in a car crash (mysteriously). His plane crashed just short of a run into the Grand Canyon, and there was no warning before his plane crashed. His family owned most of the land that now forms Summerlin, so there were a number of people on board at the time of his crash.
There have been a lot of changes to this small town over the years. The original structure of the airfield still exists, but the rest of the town was built around the airport. Summerlin was one of only two planned airfields in southern Nevada that still exist today. There are several historic buildings and sites that you can visit, including an old hospital, the original gas station, and the original fast food restaurant. The airfield was originally designed to service a light airplane, but it later became a place for civilian aircraft.

This was a great learning experience for them, and it paved the way for the future success of their business.
